2022 LZ Festival Brings Drifting Superstars to Mondello Park

Global Drifting Superstars come to Mondello Park

Mondello Park is proud to be hosting the first European LZ Festival this weekend on the 3rd  and 4th of September.

Adam LZ, one of the biggest You-Tube stars with over 3.5 million subscribers will be joined by fellow American superstars Jimmy Oakes, TJ Hunt, Ryan Meyer and Collette Davis.

The stellar European line-up includes Baggsy, Becky Evans, Driftworks Phil Morrison, Martin Richards and Tess Whittock, Low Origin & Nightride, Axel Hildebrande  Sultan Al Qasami  from the UAE, alongside the ever contentious Australian Luke Fink – who is back with a point to prove!  The Irish contingent consists of renowned drifters, brothers Jack & Conor Shanahan, D-MAC and Drift Masters European Champion, James Deane.  These are a selection of some of the legendary names from the Drifting world who will be in Ireland this weekend for what is anticipated to be one of the biggest Drift Events ever held in Europe.

‘It’s incredible that Mondello Park and Drift Games will be hosting some of the biggest names from the Drifting world from the US, Europe, the Middle East and Australia, the demand is  for this event is so high, we will have record attendance this weekend, with over 20,000 people anticipated ’ said Managing Director of Mondello Park, Roddy Greene.

LZ Festival

There is plenty happening both on and offtrack with a vast selection of over 500 Showcars from all over Europe including a Nissan PS13, Nissan S15, Toyota AE86, a GT1 inspired V12 Lamborghini Murcielago and a Nissan Navara pick-up brought by Baggsy, with a full Nissan R35 GT-R all wheel drive system and an engine producing 1,200BHP. 

In additional there will be Driver Practices,  meet and greets with the Superstars of Drifting, Driver superlaps, parades, car reveals, trade and merch villages. The Drift King of Ireland Battle on Saturday, as well as what is going to be the  much anticipated, hotly contested LZ Festival Top 32 Battles on Sunday, with many competitors going head to head for the first time on Sunday.

Single entry day tickets cost €30 for adults and children over 8 years old, for children up to 7 years old tickets are €10.
