FIA European Rallycross Championship Returns to Ireland at Mondello Park This July
Mondello Park is set to host one of the most exhilarating weekends in global motorsport as the FIA European Rallycross Championship returns to Ireland on 18th & 19th July 2026. Marking a historic moment, this event will see the FIA European Rallycross Championship return to Irish soil for the first time in over 30 years — bringing one of the world’s most thrilling racing formats back to its passionate home crowd.
A championship that has toured some of Europe’s most iconic venues, Euro RX combines explosive wheel-to-wheel racing across mixed surfaces of dirt and asphalt, delivering high-speed, high intensity action in a compact stadium-style setting. For 2026, the Championship evolves further, with the top-tier class returning to internal combustion engines—enhancing competition, strengthening grids, and delivering the raw spectacle fans have demanded. The championship has also been restructured into a six-round series focused on heritage circuits steeped in rallycross history—making Mondello Park a fitting stage for this long awaited Irish comeback.
