Introduction
Early-Drive | Electrified by Opel is our unique driving and road safety programme designed for 13- to 17-year-olds who are eager to learn how to drive and get behind the wheel of a car for the first time. This memorable experience in the unique environment of our Mondello Park track, combined with the training expertise of our instructors, allows students to learn about driver safety in a realistic way, giving them the foundations and skills for when they become drivers in the future.
Early-Drive | Electrified by Opel is a combination of on and off-track practical sessions in dual controlled vehicles and demonstrations which result in students becoming safer pedestrians, cyclists and ultimately drivers.
Early-Drive | Electrified by Opel is run in partnership with Ireland’s nationwide Driving School, the Irish School of Motoring (ISM). ISM was established in 1961 and is the largest Driving School in the country.
This Programme is supporting the Road Safety Authority’s Vision Zero objective. ISM’s role is to provide driver training expertise to support learner behaviour that will improve safety for everyone sharing the road.
Through Early-Drive | Electrified by Opel, ISM assists in engaging young road users to increase their awareness of their own limitations and of the dangers relating to driving. ISM is proud to extend our expertise in providing this essential life skill for young people in the safe and special setting of Mondello Park.
