Our store allows recipients to use their credit on any of our experiences, even if they have a voucher for a particular Driving Thrill. • Rally Driving Experiences: Take on the challenge of off-road driving with rally experiences at Mondello Park. Our purpose-built rally track offers Ireland’s only loose surface and tarmac track. Feel the adrenaline pumping with our Rally track.
• Drift Experiences: Unleash your sideways skills with drift experiences at Mondello Park. Learn how to perform controlled slides and thrilling drift manoeuvres under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Can anyone participate in the Driving Thrills, or do I need prior experience?

In general, most Mondello Park Driving Thrills are designed to accommodate a wide range of participants. However, there are some considerations and requirements to keep in mind. Are there any age or licence requirements for participating in the Driving Thrills?

Yes, there are age and licence requirements for participating in the driving experiences at Mondello Park. The specific requirements may vary depending on the type of experience and the vehicle being driven.

Except for The Simulator Thrill and EarlyDrive, all Mondello Park Driving Thrills require drivers to be at least 18 years of age or to hold a valid driving licence. We also only accept licences from certain countries, and a complete list of these can be found in our Terms & Conditions.

How long do the Driving Thrills last?

The duration of our Driving Thrills varies depending on the specific type of experience and package chosen. You can find more information on each individual driving experience on their Driving Thrill page. Our experiences are usually broken down into laps driven rather than time, so you can drive as fast or slow as you like; as long as you have fun!

Are the Driving Thrills suitable for individuals or groups?

Yes, all our experiences are suitable for groups! But our Driving Thrills are released on a first-come-first-serve basis and are released in 8-week cycles, so be sure to book in quickly!

A favourite of groups is our Formula Race Thrill, which provides timed laps on the track so you can see who’s the fastest!

Can I bring my own vehicle for the Driving Thrills?

Yes, Mondello Park offers a number of days on the track where you can take your bike or car out and have some fun. You can find out more on our Track Days page.

Are there professional instructors available to guide participants during the Driving Thrills?

Yes, we have professional instructors available to guide participants during their driving experiences. These instructors are experienced and knowledgeable in various aspects of driving, including race techniques, vehicle control, and safety protocols. They are there to provide guidance, support, and feedback to help participants improve their driving skills and make the most of their experience at the park. The instructors can offer valuable insights, tips, and techniques to enhance your driving performance and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Can I purchase a Driving Thrill as a gift for someone else?

Yes, when you purchase a Driving Thrill, you’ll have the option to purchase the driving experience for another person. We also have the option of a Monetary Gift Certificate that can be used for any of our Driving Thrills if you’re not sure which one to purchase.

How do I book a Driving Thrill at Mondello Park?

You can book your Driving Thrill by visiting the “Redeem” section of the Mondello Park website. Simply navigate to the Driving Thrill you have a certifiicate for. Once there, you’ll be able to find the available dates for upcoming driving experiences. Just click on the one that suits you and follow the steps online.

You can also use the value of your Driving Thrill certificate to upgrade to another experience. Just enter your code when Redeeming the Driving Thrill you want, and you’ll have the option to pay for the outstanding balance. Can I take photos or videos during the Driving Thrills?

Participants can bring friends or family to take photos and videos during their driving experience at Mondello Park. We understand that capturing and sharing the excitement of your experience is part of the fun, but please stay in the designated areas for guests to ensure your safety!

We kindly remind all participants to prioritize safety and follow any instructions provided by our staff regarding the appropriate use of devices while driving. Please be mindful of others and ensure that your photography or videography activities do not interfere with the overall experience or pose any risks to yourself or others.

Is there any specific clothing or equipment required for the Driving Thrills?

For your driving experience at Mondello Park, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement and ensures your safety on the track. It is important to wear flat shoes or runners, as they provide better pedal feel and control. Avoid wearing open-toed shoes, sandals, or high heels, as they are not suitable for driving activities.

Additionally, we advise wearing trousers or pants rather than skirts or dresses to ensure unrestricted movement while seated in the vehicle. Loose or flowing clothing should also be avoided, as they may interfere with the operation of the controls.

At Mondello Park, your safety and comfort are our top priorities, and appropriate attire plays a vital role in ensuring an enjoyable and secure driving experience. By following these clothing recommendations, you can fully focus on the thrill of the track while feeling comfortable and confident throughout your time with us.

What is the refund or cancellation policy for the Driving Thrills?

A full refund is available to customers within 14 days of purchase, as stipulated in the Consumer Rights Act 2022. Our refund policy does not apply after the 14-day cooling-off period (often called the ‘cooling off’ period).

Vouchers are valid for 60 months. Vouchers are non-refundable and must be used by the expiration date of the voucher. Late arrivals may result in forfeiture of your booking. Transfers of vouchers are only permitted with the company’s prior approval.
