Fiesta Zetec
Fiesta Zetec
The Mondello Park Fiesta Zetec Championship is the perfect entry class to Irish motorsport. Since its inception in 2013, it has been one of the biggest classes in the paddock. The base car is the Ford Fiesta Zetec 1.25 built between the years 1996 and 2002. Both three and five door cars are eligible and they run to pretty much standard spec with stringent technical policing ensuring equality.

The nuts & Bolts
Fiesta Zetecs can get up to 120kph on the main straight in Mondello Park.
This is a budget entry saloon class. Cars needing work are available for as little as €1500, while a good car, ready to go, would be circa €2,500.
You can run a Fiesta Zetec yourself for approximately €600 per race weekend.
You can drive a Fiesta Zetec with a National B licence.
This class provides very close, entertaining racing. The cars can also be used in the hugely popular 6 Hour Endurance Race at the end of the season, where teams of three or four drivers share a car and compete against other teams for “6 Hour” glory.
